Christmas time

We put up our tree on Saturday and Conner hated the way it felt so he wouldn't touch it. We thought good he wont go play in it. He got over that fast. Daniel loves Christmas and I love putting all the decorations up. This year we had a little helper Conner. We would put something up and he would be right behind us taking it down. Daniel is so excited that the tree is up he keeps asking if I would wrap the gift and put them under the tree. I would if I didn't have this cast on my hand. Aah... Christmas time you got to love!

Dislocated thumb

About a week ago I was picking Conner up and I felt my thumb pop. It didn't hurt so I keep going. Every time I picked him up my thumb would pop. Finally of a week of popping and by now there was pain I went to the doctor. They took an x ray and there it was my thumb had popped out of it socket. The doctor gave me two numbing shots and popped it back into place. I was so glad my dad was there to hold my hand. They put a brace on and the doctor told me to not use that hand. That's hard since I'm right handed and it was my right hand. The brace was making my thumb hurt more if I did anything with it. Since I stay home with three kids the doctor put a case on it so I could do the things I need to do and my thumb can heal right. So now I get to wear a purple cast for two-three weeks then a brace for one week.

9 months old

Conner turned nine months today! I still cant believe how fast it has been since he was a newborn. This has been by far the best 9 months of my life. I love being this little guys mommy. By 9 months Conner has said his first word (mama) learned to crawl and to pull himself up on to things. He is pushing things around so he can walk. He just learned to climb the stairs. He is a busy and active little boy you always need to keep an eye on him he gets into things a lot. We love you Conner!

What a mess!!!

I'm working on the blog and Conner dumped a whole wet wax candle on the carpet. I was freaking out I didn't know how to get the wax out of the carpet. Lucky I called my dad and he told me what I needed to do. Conner wants to crawl so I called my aunt to see if she could watch Conner while I cleaned. (Daniel was at work when this happened.) Two minutes before my aunt shows up Daniel get home. (Thanks Francene for watching him.) I get home from the store to finish cleaning and go up stairs. I'm almost done and I needed something downstairs I go to the stairs and what do I find... Conner alone climbing the stairs. We have really steep stairs so when I saw this I almost had a heartattack. Thanks heavens Daniel showed up two seconds later. Looks like we need to keep a closer eye on our little monkey.

First Letter!

My little brother is on his mission and Monday night we finally got a letter from him. I was so happy to rip it open and see what he said. Yes I do miss him a ton. He wrote in his letter that he is loving it there and he has met a ton of nice people. My mom is from Bear Lake and he has met three sisters from there. For Thanksgiving he told us he watched 17 miracles and at the end he cried cause he really misses Conner. We sent him some pictures of Conner and he said all these sister missionary came over and had to see this cute nephew of his. At the end he left some room to ask us for some cookies. I'm surprised he didn't say CHOCOLATE cookies. It was nice getting a letter from him and cant wait to get another one.

 He leaves to Oklahoma on Dec 6th. I hope these next two years go by fast.

Pie time!

Daniel doesn't like Conner playing in his food so why Daddy was busy watching football Mommy let Conner play with his pie. It was a ton of fun watching him play in it.

Conner's First Halloween

For Conner's first Halloween we went to my aunts house and went trick or treating with her family. Her oldest Trevyn was a super sweet kid and held Conner's bag and got candy for him. We walked around there neighborhood in Millville. Conner got a lot of stuff his dad was happy he eat most of it. My parents and brother came up to see Conner's first Halloween.

Lowered the crib

Conner just learned how to stand himself up in his crib so today we lowered his crib. I cant belive how fast he is growing up. Soon he will be walking. I hope we are ready for that.

Wow it has been a long time since I updated this. Really quick I'm going to update to today.

 Conner was born March 1st 2011 so 3.1.11. He was 7 lbs and 20 inch long born at 4:51 pm at the imc in Murray. He was a great baby slept threw the night even when I had to go back 3 days later and stayed til he was a week old. He is a Mommy's boy sometimes he is a daddy's boy. Kalvin loves Conner and watched really close to anyone that held him. Conner would start to cry and Kalvin was right there to make sure you didn't hurt him. To this day they are best buds.

Updates on Conner

•  Was blessed on May 15th 2011 in our old ward in Murray. Daniel blessed him and he wore Daniels outfit but the pants. (Daniel had a bigger bottom.)
•   1st time swimming was June 8th 2011
• 1st time at LAGOON was June 10th 2011first ride was the train and he fell asleep before it started and slept threw it.
• 1st fever was June 19th it was 101 and mom was scared
• Started rice cereal June 23 2011 and then 1st fruit was peaches on 27th. He loved them!
• July 23 2011 was holding his own bottle
• Rolled for the 1st time on Aug 19th
• Learn to sit up Aug 28th
• 1st tooth was Sept 13 two weeks later the second one came.
• 1st BYU game Aug 30 LOVED IT! Week later 1st USU game.
• Learned to feed himself Sept 8
• Crawled Nov 1st week later learned to pull himself up on knees
• Said momma Nov 9
• 3rd tooth was today

Daniel and I update
  
Daniel is in school at USU and is learning to be a civil engineer. I'm a stay at home mom and also watch my little cousin Tason and niece Arwen during the day. We moved up to Logan on Aug 2 the day after my 21st birthday. We have a 2 story town home with a lot of room for Conner to grow. It has 2 bath 2 bed a changing area and kitchen with living room washer and dryer area. Also it has A LOT of storage space. That our updates since last year. More to come we hope.
