Gain weight!

Well today we go to the doctors appointment and they see how much I weigh and I have gained 0 pounds since I've been pregnant. My doctor told me I need to gain a pound a week for five weeks. This was a first; The doctor told me to go home and start eating candy and ice cream. Food that will put weight on me. What I'm confused is why have I gained 0 pounds and my belly looks like I ate Kalvin whole. Our next appointment is October 4th and that is when we find out what the baby is. Fingers cross its a little boy, We already have a name and its a boys name. I don't like a lot of girl names so if its a girl that is going to be a hard one.

Nothing new this week.

There is nothing that has really happen this week so this blog updates going to be a little lame. Sorry. The only thing new is that we are speaking in church for the second time this summer. We are speaking on the 26th of Sept. That's one week after we find out what we are having.

Oh well this week we had Matt and Laura come over for dinner Monday. We had hamburger pie with seasoned veggies and then my favorite jello (strawberry and banana with really bananas in it.) then for dessert Daniel made peach cob. So good.

Tonight we are having Bill, Iva and Micky over for dinner. We are having chicken parmesan on pasta with garlic bread and a grandpa salad then dessert either cookies or brownies with ice cream. Kalvin is really happy he gets to play with Micky tonight.

So that about it for this week and last week.

3 months!!!

I'm feeling so much better now that I'm in my second trimester. We have a doctors appointment on the 30th and then in five weeks we find out what we are having. I sure hope its a boy.

Baby bump at 3 months.

I can hear you but where are you?

Daniel was trying to tell me something so I walked in the living room so i could hear him better. I walked in and he was no where to be found. I called out to Daniel where are you? I'm right here cant you see me? No I just see Kalvin. Look in the couch Alicia. I looked and this is where I found him.

The other day it was so funny. I pulled out my camera to play around with it and kalvin came up to me and started to nug me like take my pictures. I pointed it to him and he would strike a pose for me. I was laughing so hard each time he would do a diffrent pose for me. Our little dog is a funny little thing. Whats that smell?

The other night Daniel and I came home and after ten minutes of being home we could smell something burning. We go in the kitchen and we looked couldn't find where it was coming from so we thought it was the candle that was on the burner. After a few second turning that off we could still smell it. We go back in the kitchen and the towel on the toaster was on fire. Daniel hurried and grabbed the towel and put it in the sink. Our cute blue towel was all black. It was sad throwing it away. On the towel was some bread and the bag started on fire too. Here are the pictures of the bread but no pictures of the towel. Daniel threw it away before i could take a picture.

Im 11 weeks along now!

I am feeling so much better now that I'm super close being in my second trimester. I cant believe how time has flown. Feels just yesterday we just found out we are going to have a baby and i was only 6 weeks along. Now that we are in our new place our next project after we get everything in its place is going to be the baby's room. This I'm really excited for! We first need to find out what we are having. We are really hoping for a little boy. I'm not sure i can handle a little girl just yet. We already have a name picked out if its a boy. We like the name Conner Daniel Ethington. Our next doctors appointment is the 30th of August. I want it here already. I love going to the doctors and finding out how the little baby is doing. Makes our day!

The joys of moving.

Last Saturday we moved to our new place. We couldn't live there just yet. There was still some stuff that needed to get down/ fixed. We hurried and packed up our old place and moved everything over to our new place. We get there and the carpet is GROSS! The kitchen sink has a broken handle. The place smelled gross. Then we could only move stuff into the kitchen. Thank havens our kitchen is big, we got all the stuff at our old place moved in but the bed had to go take a stay at the Ethingtons place. I'm so glad we got a lot of help from family members. I was really worried Daniel was going to be the only person moving things since the doctor has told me I couldn't help moving anything since I'm carrying a little baby. Today we finally get to live in our new place. Carpet cleaned, sink handle fixed, the smell is fix with air fresheners. We still need to move over our bed, desk. hope chest, kitchen table, and washer/dryer. Now trying to put everything in a place is going to be the hard part. Our living room floor plan is set up really weird. I'm weird and i like my couch right straight from the TV. We cant do that in our new place. I'm hoping we can figure something out. 

10 Weeks

10 Weeks I'm craving for french fries, candy, potatoes cooked in away they can be cooked. Morning sickness is gone after I eat something and sleep. It feels like I'm tried every second of the day. I not fitting in my work pants anymore, I really need to get some more work pants. Ones that fit.

First heartbeat

On the 3rd of August we had another doctors appointment. We got there and there waiting for us was a stack of paper to fill out. I didn't want to fill out all this paper work i wanted to see how the baby was doing. Finally we got the papers done and in we went. In our room was a bag waiting for us of free stuff. Daniel was like a little kid in a candy store. After looking at all the stuff he turns to me, why is this all for you and the baby. I just had to look at him and laugh. After that the doctor came in and we started the questions then we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. Daniel and I both got a little teary eyed. After that appointment we went to Slcc and stood in line for an hour to get Daniel on Financiall aid. When we finally got there Daniel had forgotten his W4. The lady told us just to fax all his papers, Daniel was so mad. After we wasted and hour there Daniel took me to Olive Garden for my birthday. Later that night we went to Matt and Laura's place and played xbox and ticket to ride. To end our busy day we packed our living room.
